Sunday August 13
International Bazaar on Main
  • FREE concert by The Camry's ? classic rock from the 60'2 and 70's.
  • # Pure Dance will perform a community dance of peace and unity t 1 o'clock. The crowd is encouraged to join in
  • Chef Marilyn Harris returns to talk about one of her specialties "Cincinnati's German Culinary Heritage" in honor of the International Bazaar. The lecture begins at 2 p.m. at Mr. Pitiful's. Limited seating. First come, first seated.
  • # Sommelier Paul Ortiz of the Cincinnati Wine School will conduct a wine tasting on "Global Wining" (with your cheese). A tasting of international cheese ? and yes you get wine with that cheese! 3 p.m. at Mr. Pitiful's. Nominal donation accepted at the door. Space is limited. First come, first seated.
  • The street will be closed to vehicular traffic and fill with performances from around the world. Let the music move you to join in with the belly dancers and Columbian folkloric dancers.
  • Try international taste treats from cultural culinary vendors including the popular Bar-B-Que from Nathan Dean and Italian Gelato form Madison.
  • Sit a spell at Mr. Pitiful's and hear Maikop-Adegar talk about the dynamic cultural heritage of former Soviet Socialist Republic.
  • Create and communicate with the METRO CANVAS. Metro is giving SSOM a white bus for the afternoon so the community can come together to artistically express their love of OTR and SSOM. It only happens on Main Street in Over-the-Rhine!
  • Metaphysics, healers, energy workers and readers.
  • Enjoy brunch at Kaldi's and hearty sandwiches at Coopers.
  • Take the Architreks walking tour and stay for lunch. Tour begins at 10:00 a.m. at the Coffee Emporium in the Emery Building.
Sunday September 10
Bling Bling on Main
  • From the School for Creative and Performing Arts, students in music dance and creative writing, fill the festival with music and entertainment.
  • A special chalk art street painting with a "bling theme" will be done directly on Main Street in conjunction with the following weekend's Streetscapes: A Street Painting Festival held up in Clifton's Business District.
  • Hold on to your hats as Jennifer Kagy, the consummate chef of One Restaurant and Lounge in Mason, talks about ?Jewels of Modern American Cuisine?. Join in a rich conversation and exchange at 2 p.m. at Mr. Pitiful?s. Limited seating. First come, first seated.
  • Sommelier Paul Ortiz of the Cincinnati Wine School will conduct a wine tasting on ?Bubbles and Bling Bling?. There?s nothing more bling bling that a tasting of sparkling wines from around the world! 3 p.m. at Mr. Pitiful?s. Nominal donation accepted at the door. Space is limited. First come, first seated.
  • Show us your ride and display your outrageous car, motorcycle, and scooter on Main Street. The street will be closed for ample place to showcase your wheels where the crowd can ooh and ahh. Judging and awards will happen at 4:00 Click here to register your vehicle for display.
  • Over a dozen jewelers and bead makers offer unique wearable art for sale. Personal bling bling.
  • Metal smiths from Miami University show and sell their artwork. They work under the direction of Artist and Professor Susan Ewing, who created the Crystalline Tower in Friendship Park. See and purchase their unique metal work.
  • Metaphysics, healers, energy workers and readers.
  • Enjoy brunch at Kaldi?s and get a sneak peek at the talented performers and rising stars from CCM.
  • Be surprised at the great breakfasts and sandwiches at Coopers. And enjoy great BBQ and sandwiches from the sidewalk vendors.
  • Purchase organic greens and more from Madison Produce and get a taste of Findlay Market.
  • WOW ? Italian ice cream, Gelato, is available.
  • Good eating all afternoon at Kaldi?s, Cooper?s on Main and Courtyard Café.
  • Nathan Dean with his staff will be barbequing ribs and chicken dinners on the street! Delicious!
  • Purchase fresh produce from the Eco Garden courtesy of Impact OTR.
  • Stop by the OTR Chamber of Commerce resource table for merchant discounts and specials.
  • Take the Architreks walking tour and stay for lunch. Tour begins at 10:00 a.m. at the Coffee Emporium in the Emery Building.

Carnivale de la Calle Main
  • Pickled Brothers Side Show performs FREE for your amusement and entertainment! Witness ?death defying acts?
  • In honor of our celebration of Latino culture, King of Culinary Tricks, David Cook of Daveed?s Restaurant shares casual, personal conversation about ?The Drama of Presentation from Simplistic to Artistic? 2 p.m. at Mr. Pitiful?s. Limited seating. First come, first seated.
  • MUSE, the internationally known women?s choir, performs.
