Get Involved in Second Sunday on Main
Second Sunday on Main in Over-the-Rhine ? Cincinnati?s hip, urban street fair - promises more activities, more events, and more fun this year. Musicians will entertain, artists will paint in a plein air competition, marching bands will thrill, great chefs will tell secrets, architects will host tours, wine sommeliers will offer tastings, psychics will help you talk with your dog, ECO Garden will sell you fresh produce and the SPCA will sell you a kitten.
Starting Sunday, May 14, and continuing on the second Sunday of each month through October and again in December, Main Street between 12th and Liberty streets will be THE destination for music, shopping, dining, art, entertainment and community. Second Sunday on Main will showcase entrepreneurs and emerging artists, as well as established businesses.
The shops, galleries, and restaurants are open for Sunday brunch, browsing and business. Taste Cincinnati cuisine from German to French. Shop dozens of venders offering jewelry, pottery, wearable art, artwork, antiques, crafts, pet treats, musical instruments, purses, and other collectibles, and more. Special events will augment the festival atmosphere. May 14th, as part of Metaphysics on Main, artists will set up their easels and paint in the afternoon in a plein air competition. Judging and prizes will be awarded at 4pm. Click here to register as an artist in the plein air competition.
